- *NEW* Amps
As most people know, our company has been going through some changes recently. From the time that we announced the discontinuation of our main lines of pedalboards last month we have consistently said that “The future is bright!” In addition to all the new products that we’ve been working on and releasing, today I am incredibly excited to share with you something that has been in the works for some time now.
As of 9/12/16, Creation Music is happy to announce the acquisition of Risen Amplification. We have been long time friends with Drew and Lucas and huge fans of their amps. We are honored to continue on with the legacy that they have built. Even better is that Drew Tooley, the lead designer and engineer of their amp circuitry, will be staying on as a consultant. Over the coming weeks and months, all of their models (and some new ones) will be given a completely new look and rebranded as Creation products. As I have said, the future is bright and we are so excited to share with you what is coming!
Will the name be changing? Yes. After much consideration, all parties involved feel it makes the most sense to rebrand the current Risen models as Creation Music products.
Will these amps look the same as Risen with just a different name? No. It is our plan to not only re-brand the amp models as Creation, but also give them an entirely new look and feel that best represents our years of experience in the pedalboard and amp cabinet manufacturing industry. We build some of the best looking products in the world, and while the previous amps also looked killer, we want to put our own signature look on the amps we are such big fans of ourselves.
Are the previous Risen owners completely removed from the process? No. While we Lucas DeShong has stepped away from the company, Drew Tooley has agreed to stay on at a consultant level on a continuing basis. Drew is an electrical engineer and has been the lead designer in Risen's amp circuitry. Drew will continue to be an interval part of the amplification division at Creation and we have plans for several new models already in the works to develop together.
What amps are you guys planning to release? You'll just have to wait and see.
Will my current Risen amp still be covered under warranty? Yes. We believe in the reputation that Risen has built over the years as well as the reputation of Creation for continued service and support. All previous amp purchases through Risen will be allowed to transfer any previous warranty or service needs to Creation.
